Great to see the Fencing coming up at the Temple site in Moncrieff. There is an opportunity to volunteer for building the fence on weekend ( Saturday and Sunday).
More volunteers needed to complete the fence at Canberra Hindu Mandir Inc site. Please leave your availability in the comments. We will contact you.

Tonight I spoke with our close friend, Indian PM Narendra Modi who expressed his appreciation to Australia for standing with India as they confront a significant COVID-19 challenge.

Australia is supporting India with ventilators, oxygen concentrators and other supplies, the first shipment was delivered this week.

And we wonโ€™t forget Indiaโ€™s leadership and generosity in exporting vaccines globally.

Australia and India will keep working in close partnership on these and other global challenges.

This is a hugely difficult time for our friends in India and Australians in India or with loved ones over there. We will continue to stand with them and do everything we can to support India through this.

The Australian Government is committed to keeping Australians safe and supporting India at this time.

This week my colleagues and I consulted with leaders across our diverse Australian Indian community to discuss the impacts of the travel pause with India. We thank all for the understanding and patience during this difficult time.

Safe travel will resume from the 15th of May and we will continue sending support and prayers for all the families and loved ones of so many people who have lost someone. ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ
