Dr Krishna is a visionary and has community leadership to identify their needs and empower them to build the facilities and institutions. As Founder and Chairman of Canberra Hindu Mandir, he raised significant funding and acquired land through the Direct Sale of Community Land scheme. He is leading a large community to build a facility for their future generations in Moncrieff, ACT. The facility consists of a temple, community hall, spiritual education and a library with a sustainable funding model.
Dr Krishna established Telugu Badi (school) in Canberra. He facilitated the appropriate curriculum, teacher training, volunteers and sustainable funding to run the school. It has celebrated its tenth anniversary and about eighty students in the school. Now the school is empowered to run autonomously by volunteers and teachers.
Dr Krishna is advocating in building a multicultural centre in Gungahlin region to promote community harmony in Canberra. This is aimed at cultural participation and inclusiveness among the diverse communities celebrate together.
